she was a sawyer's daughter and lived at 25 Kings Street when she married. Her occupation on the 1881 census was dressmaker.
The birth was actually in Plumstead, Kent but boundarys have changed
He was a Chemist's assistant on birth cert for Gran
In 1881 he was listed as an unemployed dentist and chemist. He was living with his parents at Trafalgar Cottage, Stoke Damerel.
On the 1891 census he was listed as dealer in groceries. Neither an employer nor employed.
They lived at 13 Garden Crescent on the 1891 census and later in 1894 when Nan was born there.
According to the Plymouth Trade Directory he never lived at 13 Garden Crescent. This haouse was occupied by Emmanuel Weeks. Did they rent it from him?
